HEY FAMILY!!!!!

So I’m staying in Tehachapi ... WITH ELDER SCHOLES!!!!  We are doing three transfers together!!  It’s crazy haha.  We wanted to stay for three and we got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott’s baptism was amazing!!!!  The spirit was so strong, I loved it!  Then the day after the baptism, Scott met with the bishop and found out that not only would he be confirmed on Sunday but he would be receiving the Aaronic Priesthood!!!  It was so awesome!  The confirmation went really well, it was a good experience.  Elder Scholes ordained him!  It was just a huge week for their family!  They were really worried that one of us would get transferred.  When we called them and told them the news they were stoked and started yelling and screaming about it!  They really love us for some reason. 

So Monday we were worried what was going to happen to the area after Scott’s baptism ... like who where we going to baptize next ... then all of the sudden we got a call from this recent convert sister asking us to come teach her kid and baptize him!!!!!  It was freaking amazing!!!! So we met with him, his name is Romeo, and taught him the restoration he loved it and asked us when he could get baptized ... we were almost in shock!!! haha.  So on April 13th he is getting baptized.  It was awesome, and they had one of their neighbors there and she loved it!!  And has been to church a lot and really likes it.  So hopefully next time we meet we will commit her to baptism!! 

Things here are going great!!!  I’m excited for this upcoming transfer, we should see some more baptisms and miracles.  I love it here and wouldn’t mind staying here until I finish my mission!  I feel at home while I’m here.  It’s a good feeling knowing that you need to be in a certain area, I love it!!!

Hey family!!!!!!!!!

This week was the bomb!!!!!!!  A lot of stuff happened, some good and some really weird!!!  But it was a fun week.

Tuesday night Scott had his baptismal interview!!!!!  He passed, so he is now getting baptized tomorrow night at 6!  It’s awesome!!!  He stood up in church yesterday and invited the whole ward, it was great!!  He is so excited for tomorrow.  He asked me to confirm him on Sunday. It was really humbling.

After the interview I went down to Bakersfield on an exchange with Elder Deese.  He is my district leader.  It was cool we taught a lot of lessons and had a really weird experience.  We were teaching this recent convert about the atonement and how to use it and then all of the sudden her neighbor came up and told her that her cat died!  She went nuts!!  She was screaming and crying and running around!!  It was so sad!!!  The neighbor told her that he put the cat by the dumpster ... she wanted to bury it ... then she asked us to put it in the plastic bag!!!!  It was so awful ... the life of a missionary is crazy sometimes.

BIG NEWS!!!  It’s now ok for me to email FRIENDS as well!!

Things are going great here!!!  Transfers are coming up.  I hope that I stay with Elder Scholes for one more!!

Hey family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this week was good.

Scott is getting baptized on the 19th instead of the 16th.  It worked out with his schedule.  He text us the other day and told us how excited and ready he is to get baptized!!!  It’s been a real blessing to work with him and a testimony builder!  That family is the best!!! They are doing missionary work already!!  Once a week we also teach AJ and Alyssa and they are always bringing their friends because they want us to baptize them!!!  One of the kids actually is interested and apparently his parents are sorta interested as well!!!  I LOVE this family!!!

This upcoming week we have zone conference, I’m excited about it.  It’s always fun to see past companions and learn something new about the work.  I’m pretty sure Elder Tincher is going to be there too!! 

Elder Scholes and I got sick this week too ... we were out of commission for most of the week.  It was sooooooooo boring just sitting there looking at the ceiling.  But we are doing a lot better now and back to work! 

I wrote you all letters and sent them out this morning!!! 

I love you all and I’m really sorry these past two emails have been really short and lame but nothing really cool has happened!

Hey,

Nothing really new has happened this week.

Scott is going great!  He is now getting baptized on the 16th because the 23rd is spring break! So that's exciting!  He is always asking questions that lead us to the next point in the lesson, he is probably the most prepared person I have taught on the mission.  It’s pretty fun!

AJ got the priesthood!!!  Last Thursday, it was really awesome and the spirit was really strong! And now their home has the priesthood!!  It’s really exciting to see this family catch on fire with this gospel and this church ... it has been very humbling to be part of it.

Well family sorry this is the shortest email known to man but nothing new has really happened. Love you all so much and have a good week!
